PlakChat / Beer, Beer we want more beer

We found an interesting article (with Plakias and Myrthos in it) about Greek beers.
We are going to try them out any way  next time in Greece as we go for local drinks and dishes anyhow.

I wrote the article in Pints West but unfortunately it is out of date. The bar in Myrthios has removed Craft beer from the menu and the Sky Restaurant in Rethimnon have stopped because the price was raised such that they would need to charge over six euros for a glass. However it is still available fairly widely in Athens and is good quality although expensive. I can recommend the bar next to the pet shop in the Town Hall Square about 100 metres from Omonia and a small bar on the edge of Iroon Square near Monasitaki. Bob.
