Title: Taxi Transfers
Post by: boxerlover on August 29, 2006, 05:20:45 PM: I may be clutching at straws here but can anyone tell me the telephone number of a taxi driver from Plakias named Vasilios. I may add that this information is not for me as our transfers have already been arranged ( only three days to go now.....Yabba dabba doooooooo ) but for friends who arrive a week later and have used Vasilios many times in the past. I am told that when off duty he can be found in the company of Dennis in the Livicon.

I already have Zacharias details. Our friends ( Tony and Margaret ) insist on using Vasilios though as they have transfered with him for many years now and trust his driving. If I cannot get the information here then Dennis ( Livicon ) will know his number.

The telephone is manned 24 hours - 0030 28320 31777 - mobile 0030 6932281995. He has a new website www.taxi4you.gr. Not sure what hours the office will be open yet but I believe it will be manned all day by either Zak or his wife and they are happy to arrange shared taxis where available.

it's probably a very good idea to plumb these numbers in your mobile in case they are ever needed in an tight spot

Apparently the taxi 4 you website is having problems sending out mail so it might be easier at the moment to contact Zack by landline or personal e mail which is what i did.

reckon if zeus wills us there , I will be on mythos and raki

We have recently return from Plakias. We used Zaks taxis both from and back to Heraklionand the service was excelent. We are returning in September and have just emailed Zak to arrange the taxi from Heraklion. The website still does not appear to be working
