...is there a laudrette in Plakias or should I pack my travel wash?

   i really don't know!!!

we always take the travel wash for the washing out the 'smalls'

i know where there's a couple of old ( 50 year old) cretan laundry places but i don't think you'd be wanting to go there

I think there's one on the corner opposite the 'Gio-Ma' restuarant, but don't quote me!

There is a laundry by the harbour that will do a service wash for you

Thanks, I had a vague memory of one being there.  We leave today with no need for the travel wash.
