Hi Chris
You have just replied to a message about the apartments next to the Dora with a LINK to the thread.

I was going to do a PM but I'm sure that everyone not in the know (including me) would like to know how it's done??

no problem

to place a link in a post you first need to copy the address of what you want to link to

so open up that page ( i am using the Plakias youth hostel as an example) and highlight (click next to address and drag until it goes dark around it) and copy the address ( right click mouse on the highlighted text, select copy) in the box at the top

http://www.yhplakias.com/index0.html (http://www.yhplakias.com/index0.html)

then start your reply on the forum and when you want a link, click the box above with http:// in it

you then get a new box opening in front of you

click into that box, right click on mouse and select paste, the address should now be in the box, click OK

the box now looks like this

you can now enter the name of the site (Plakias Youth Hostel )and that will be what is seen in the thread

did that all make sense?  have a go on this thread or the test section

actually you've reminded me, i said i would do a step by step guide to posting pictures on the forum...and i forgot, i might have a go this afternoon if they leave me alone
