Title: map of plakias
Post by: formiman on April 10, 2006, 09:35:49 AM
Resarching in the web, i found a map of plakias. I added the numbers 1-25 in it and perhaps has one ore some of you the time and the knowledge to assign the numbers to the names of the tavernas in a short list, and to correct and/or add .so I can complete the map  with the names, perhaps you can also add some photos ? and then the administrator can perhaps add ist in the area: FAQ

thank you.

This (http://www.compage.com/plakiasproperties.jpg) is the best we've found so far.

These old maps remind me of years ago when Sunmed used to hand them out at the welcome meetings!  What memories!

hi, now i have some grammatical dificulties with the comprehension of  the english language:

in shool they learned us:

going to to is: to do something it in the moment or in the future, you say : last year.
I do not want to occur finnicky but now i think my knowlege is a little bit wrong referring to the common speech so i understand:

you decided to do a map and you wanted to start with the map last year, but you did not start till today - is this corrrect?

You are very correct.
Special meetings were arranged, however too much time was waisted with discussions with too much raki?  (a Cretan custom)   and at the end nothing was materialised ( a Cretan custom as well?)

NB There is a topic about this issue. Perhaps you can "search" for it.

Beachcombers, this (http://forums.plakias.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=575&st=0) is probably the one you mean.

We return to this subject regularly.
Last September, 3 of us from England were planning to use the Anso map as the basis of a new one but there was a hitch.
All 3 of us will be there again in September this year but, unfortunately, not at the same time.

Perhaps one of the residents could find time to do this in the winter?

hello leen,
unfortunately the draft of the map is missing in the wolrd file, the descripton of the differnt location is visible.

or perhaps no draft does excist?
so in may i'll also take some Raki in plakias , amd tham  -perhaps- this map is not longer so important for me,. I think i will adapt me to the greek creatan custom

best regards hartmut

Suggest make a print of the word document   and drink rakis   untill you see the river, the libyan sea, the streets and the beach slowly appearing before your eyes  .

similarly i'll do so,
but before this, i'll drive to zoutelande, searching for the cafe "roode leo"-  (40 years ago it did exist). if i cannot find it, I'll take some young genever until it is apperaring for my eyes.

perhaps so i can solve all my problems with search and find, but than i would have another problem: too much raki, genever etc.
