I am contemplating visiting Plakias from the 4th October for 14 days. It will be the first time to Plakias for 3 years having been many times before ( always the last 2 weeks in May and the last 2 weeks in September.
I have never been to Plakias in October before and my question is, does anyone know if the sunloungers and parasols at the " farend " will be operating throughout October ?
It will also be the first time to Plakias independently. Can anyone give any guidance/ recommendations re Travel Insurance?

i've held back from answering in case anyone had any better suggestions, i am in the travel trade, we use Journeys Travel Insurance for our clients, we think it's good value, but i'd say check out the details- excess, compensation for cancellations, the limit of claims for lost/stolen items etc and compare them. if you're at all worried at healthcare, check that out as well

From our observations through to mid October over the years I would say yes unless the weather turns bad

We were there for a week mid-October last year and the loungers and brollies were all there.
