We've booked at the Apollon for this year but, thinking for another time, were wondering whether there is any probelm with traffic noise at the Lamon as it is right by the main road.

What traffic?
I don't think I have ever seen more than three vehicles at one time going along this road.
Don't worry about it, have a few more Rakis and you won't hear a thing.
I tried to book the lamon this year as I have wanted to stay there for years, but they wouldn't let me have a single occupancy, but going to try again next year!

I'm staying at the Dora this year does anyone know what the room facilities are like, ie fridge kettle etc. I'm easily pleased!

I'm at Kostas Chrysoulla. Do they have kettles? I find heating water in those quaint little pans for coffee, tea etc a real bore.

I do have a travel kettle but space/weight is always at a premium so won't take it unless it is necessary.

No traffic noise? So who owns the phantom moped with the exhaust removed that drives up and down the street just as we are falling asleep?
Or just as we are talking to someone for the first time?
Is it you?

How about a new forum for the best strange noises in Plakias?
Compage will buy a Mythos for the best one described.

We stayed at K/C in May last year don't promise for all rooms but not only did we have a full sized kettle but also a coffee percolator, an iron and a hairdryer. Hope you find the same.

How kind of you to volunteer for me Barny!

Mind you, I know the one you mean.
The times I've sat on the balcony at Palegremnos and watched him come down the road making that dreadful racket!
But to be fair, it has always been in the daytime.
Perhaps I don't hear him at night because of the anaesthetic?
