Hi,

Anyone remember the SunMed rambling holidays led by Bill and Joan round about 1990? That was my introduction to Plakias and I've been back about 6 times since, the latest in June this year.

Yes I remember them - I went for 2 years on the rambling holidays which Bill & Joan led.  I've had this discussion previously on the bulletin board here.  Was it with you?  Is your name Colin as I seem to remember the nickname Greecemad from e-mails exchanged?

Talking of Bill & Joan - has anyone heard from them lately?  We normally exchange Christmas cards but this year I haven't heard from them.  Then again, we moved house earlier this year so it may be that they have misplaced our new address.

We are Karen & Brian and with us on the rambling was my brother Antony.  I'd love to hear from anyone who was in our rambling groups on those 2 occasions - names which spring to mind are Brian & Stella,  Trish & Albie from the first year and  Ken & Chris who were there, I think, on both years we were.  I was going to post a picture of the group from the second year here but can't figure out how to do it.  Do pictures have to be stored on a remote website as it appears to ask for a url when you click on the img tag?

Karen,

It was me that you had this conversation before with. I think we discovered that we were never there at the same time. I've seen your photograph and can't recognise anyone except Bill. As I haven't got access to a scanner I can't put any of mine on the web.
