A couple of people have had problems with adding a profile picture.
It's not difficult, but you need to know where to click:

First, select the pic you want to post, and make a note of where you have it stored.
Go to My Controls - from the Top Menu
In the Left hand menu, select 'Change Personal Photo'
On the right now, where you see Change photo, copy or type the location of your stored pic.,
(Or click browse, and use the chose file box to find and select it, then press open)
Once you've done that, just click on 'Update Photo' - the board software will do the rest for you, including re-sizing it if necessary.

This is an excellent set of instructions that even I  can follow!  You're tempting me to be brave and adventurous!       Trouble is...the only scanned 'photo I have on diskette is a school one when I was 7!  Not quite what is required, eh?

As long as it was in short pants Noopsy, you can always file it under one for the ladies

   Indeed it was but those knobbly knees are obscured by the boys standing in front!
