Kalimera, the entire terrace, roof structure and bar area have been demolished. Only the rear area with the toilets remains.
An excavator was on site recently and new concrete has now been poured.
It is a complete renovation.

Are there any updates on the work at Kyma? A photo or two would be nice.

Kalimera Davos, I walked past the Kyma yesterday afternoon. A new extension has been built in front of the old rear section of the building. Work was still underway on the roof structure for the terrace.

It looks as though it will be a while yet before it opens... My guess is that it won?t be ready in time for Orthodox Easter/Greek Easter.

Yassou Davos, two weeks ago I asked the owner when he was opening; he said in May ? but was hoping for earlier. Over the last few days, there have usually been 10 workers on site....

Kalimera, the reviews regarding quality and service were already very mixed before the renovation.

Now, negative reviews are piling up on Google Maps. Since the restaurant's renovation, prices have risen dramatically, and the quality of the food and service is worse than in previous years.

On the plus side, the restrooms remain clean.

Some examples:

- The organization and service are very poor.

- Unfriendly owner.

- Very long waiting times.

- No complimentary raki/dessert after the meal.

- Food is expensive and of poor quality.

- The deck chairs are free but outdated. A bottle of water costs ?4.

I never went to the "football pub" to eat, only to watch football. Good alternatives for watching football (even in winter) are Smerna Bar and ?strako.

Yassou Barny, please read my post carefully. I wrote that there have been some negative reviews on Google Maps since it reopened.
