Title: Tasomanolis

Does anyone have an update regarding the former Tasomanolis site please?
Taso's closure was a great loss - enjoyed the place a lot (even though prices had risen latterly).
We saw building work going on last July. Heard mention of it being offices, but maybe a new restaurant?? Thanks

Kalispera DandC, the tavern no longer exists. The former taverna is now a boutique.

So Tasos is still doing his boat tours, as he did out of former Tasomanolis Taverna.

Exactly Tasos, now concentrates exclusively on the boat tour business.

Tasos took me hitchhiking from Plakias to Souda a few times in April. Super nice guy. His wife has also taken me hitchhiking.

With the sad demise of Tasos, any new tavernas sprung up in Plakias/Myrthios or surrounding area?
We noticed Kapilio had opened in Myrthios, but didn't get a chance to visit - I think it only opens evenings? Any reviews please?

Whilst I'm asking, there's a taverna Rousolakos Preveli listed on Tripadvisor - looks like on road to the Preveli monastery, but I twice tried to find it, without success  :( Anyone give me a pointer please?

Kalimera DandC, Taverna Rousolakos is located 200m before the large car park at Preveli beach, on the right-hand side.

Just returned from Plakias..........we 'found' Taverna Rousolakos.......NO idea how we missed it last 2 years! Too much raki probably!
