Hi everyone,
We are taking a cheeky week in Plakias as we missed our spring break there this year.
Usually we rent a car for the airport but this time we're coming through Olympic so transfer is already paid for.
Could anybody on here recommend a good car hire firm in the village please.
Thanks in advance and if you're in Plakias May 24th for a week,we may see you there!

There is Monza and Alianthos in Plakias. Probably not very helpful but because my lovely other half is not the speediest at making her mind up, we missed the cheap flights. So Olympic for us too as it is cheaper than budget flight and independent booking. Sorry will get to the point. We still book a car from the airport as cannot stand long coach Transfer and are free to stop along the way. Dimitris again AutoRentals Crete.

At the moment a car for 7 days is only £62 from the airport so I was thinking along the same lines..
When are you travelling?

Early to end of June this year. Because I am retired and can choose we tend to do June and then late September to early October with a Spring and winter break elsewhere. May is a beautiful month. Enjoy your holiday.

We usually go out to Crete March/ April..so lovely then..snow on the mountains,spring flowers and Plakias is barely open..
Then October / November..
Last year we went to Paxos in July..absolutely wonderful...
I'm also semi retired so we can go whenever
This year is different and I'm looking forward to seeing the place in the tourist season..albeit the start of it..
