Hi, we are looking at booking Bristol to Chania for October 2015.
Being our first time booking with Ryanair and wondering if we should book now or wait to book for the best fare?.
The current fare is £57.99 pp each way.
I know the recomendation is to wait until much nearer the departure date but we would prefer to have booked up by, say Feb./Mar. and know we have the dates we want.
Cheers, Paul

A bargain I would say. Grab it while you can!

Difficult to see how it could get that much cheaper to make it worth while waiting.

We've booked and reserved seats 6th June flying from Leeds/Bradford.
Ryanair was on the news this morning, apparently they are doing very well with more and more people flying with them.
So much so that they are ( allegedly ) going to offer low fares over the winter.

Because of the bad publicity surrounding Ryanair we were very wary about booking our first flights with them this year but apart from their app (had to phone one son in UK to check information) the whole experience was problem free. The on board service was good, leg room excellent and arrival times ok & above all amazingly cheap.
Interestingly The Mail-online carries the following story today,
“Ryanair has been named one of the worst brands in the world by customers.
Despite recent efforts to transform its reputation, the budget airline was one of the worst-performing brands overall in Siegel+Gale's 2014 simplicity index.
In a survey of over 12,000 customers in eight countries, Ryanair was named the second worst-ranked brand, based on ease of customer use of a company's products, services, interactions and communications.
Primary customer complaints against the airline were Ryanair's badly designed website and poor customer service that 'leaves the onus on the customer.'
The airline's app was also named a major cause for headaches, with many having difficulty in downloading mobile boarding passes.”
Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary hit back at the survey, telling MailOnline Travel that the airline's rising passenger traffic and profits indicate otherwise.
He said: ‘If we’re the worst performing brand in the world why are we the biggest international airline in the world? Why are we the most profitable airline?’
He makes an interesting point.

If the Daily Mail says that then it must be right!!!! speaking from personal experiences, we have found Ryanair excellent value, and always departing and arriving on time. No complaints from us at all.

Easy enough to check the story just visit Siegel+Gale's 2014 simplicity index.

Personally we have never experienced any problems with Ryanair always departed within 10mins of schedule. Unless beyond their control.
We find it very easy to book online / reserve seats / print boarding passes etc.
Onboard service is also very good 10/10 compared with the likes of Germania 5/10. On a flight to Kos last year it took cabin staff 1hr 30 min into the flight to ask if we wanted a drink or anything else for that matter and we were only in row6.
One of the stewardesses even took alcoholic drinks from one of the passengers because he didn't buy it on the plane------Probably won the companys Jobsworth award !
Other comments i do take on board but i have always said----Judge as you find!!
