We're booked with Olympic for August 2014, unfortunately no bargain prices for high season, but a package to Plakias is cheaper than many other Greek holidays, and Plakias itself just keeps drawing us back!

Before that we're off for the last week of the season - 10 days and counting!  Amazingly the price now is more expensive than it was when I booked a few weeks ago.  I'd have thought they'd be reducing the price by now to get the holiday booked.

If sept/october is too busy, why not go in june/july if you can (I know it is supposed to be a little hotter), but it is much less crowded-works for us.

Jackie and i enjoyed Plakias very much ( as a base ) with beautiful beaches in the area and fantastic scenery, when we went in September.
Although we think Plakias beach was a bit scruffy (far end) with tatty beds and brolly's etc. One Taverna had a miserable member of staff, but hey, we'll avoid it next time.
This didn't put us off. In fact we are planning to go again for three weeks next September ! Lucky us!!

Booked with Olympic for next May £385 staying at Kostas Chrysoula - fantastic bargain despite the long transfer time.
