Title: massage
Post by: Davos on June 01, 2013, 12:16:37 PM
Hi Guys
Does anyone know if the massage studio on the main road is still open? We will be in Plakias first two weeks in July.

The one heading west past Ostraco on the RHS is definitely open as is the fish spa on the seafront.

I think there was a little thread about the massage parlour earlier this year? (oh no)

Just back from three weeks in Plakias. My wife tried a massage from the Chinese girl on the beach. Wish she hadn't bothered! But I had a massage from this middle aged man I met in the Livicon. Bloody brilliant!

I think most people on the Plakias Forum are genuine and courteous. 'Ooh err' is simply rude and offensive. OK mate?

People like Barny are the backbone of this forum. Regularly posting and keeping the forum alive and full of interest for all us and even for those with just a couple of postings. Many people would have echoed Barny's comments in view of a previous thread on the site.

Fergus,
If I've offended you I can only apologise. But don't call me 'mate' please?

666. The number of the beast. I like this sort of humour. I wonder if the beast likes having
a massage?

Thanks Lampyland ! A memory to treasure!

Fergus, It all depends if the beast wants a massage?

Well, not a middle aged man from the Livicon thanks.

Why not Barny? What's wrong with having a massage from a bloke? The bloke in the Livicon said he'd treated some of the top rugby players in the UK. I would never have a massage from a woman.

Massage has never really appealed to me from either male or female but each to their own I say. My idea of relaxing is sitting in Kyma having a few beers and a chat to Pavlos.

Never had a massage then? You don't know what you're missing. And as for sitting in the Kyma drinking beer and watching Sky Sports. My wife and I found much better things to do with our time in Crete. But as you say. Each to their own.

Fergus,
I don't think that Barny mentions anything about watching Sky Sports. Sandra and I like going there for a cocktail on our way back from Souda to Asomatos and just having a chat.

Enjoying a cocktail????? Good Lord! I didn't realise the Kyma was so posh!

Maybe I could have a massage, Fergus are you any good at it?

Sorry Barny. I played a lot of sport at one time and had a massage once or twice a week to help me recover. Get the right bloke and a massage is one of the best things you can have. Most female massage therapists just don't have the physical strength to give a proper massage to a muscular bloke. The masseur in Plakias I understand upset quite a few people but once you get past his arrogance he's Ok and gives a great massage. Only to blokes though. He says his wife doesn't like him giving a massage to another woman. But do I do massage? No. I just like to have one. Fergus.

The Plakias wind is here today. Walked miles yesterday down some gorge. My legs are cramping up and I'm off scuba diving tomorrow. Help - I need a massage!

In plakias atm. Not seen the oriental masseurs that have been here on the beach in previous years.

Take the last statement back. Saw one masseur today, she did one massage and left.
