I hate the British on holiday. Ooooops! No I don't. I love the ludicrously chilled out atmosphere of Plakias and the Metaxa! Can't actually think of anything I hate about it. Not keen on those roadworks last year through Rodakino, but even that was quite exciting when viewed in the right way! (ie looking back having completed the crossing of the gorge)

I love:  The smell of the wild herbs in the mountains and bathing weary feet in the cool waters of the concrete irrigation water courses in the hills

Sorry - Who's Siffi?

There must be at least 10 Sifi's in Plakias to have your  first Mithos with.
I'd go for a wodka with Nicos or Lefteris.

I hate what tourism has done to parts of the Island. No I do not want to sit in a Brit or Irish bar and watch Sky sports and read the Sun Newspaper.
Love the Scenery of the South, the West and the South West. Love the deserted beaches, the mountain villages, the beautiful forests of Chania Prefecture.
Enjoying a swim and cold beer at the end of long walk.

I love - going To Plakias and enjoying all that it has to offer. I hate packing my case and leaving! I don't like putting up/taking down my beach tent in the wind. And I like the comfort of the sand under me but hate hard sunbeds! And like most people - I love an ice cold Mythos/Amstel in a frosted glass. I absolutely adore a rabitt stifado and chips. I could go on....

I hate people who book sunbeds with towels and then don't bother to turn up. Other than that I like most things about Plakias!
