I'm just wondering whether to take my laptop to Plakias ?  Does anybody know whether Kostas Chrysoulla has W Fi ? or anywhere it is available ?

There are lots of places in Plakias where you can get Internet access via wireless.
Since more are being introduced all the time I suggest you ask for the nearest when you arrive.

If it is not available at Kostas Chrysoulla and you don't want to use one of the bars the youth hostel is good for Internet access at reasonable cost.

As John says there are more and more these days.

Livicon certainly has it, so you can surf whilst having a tipple or two.

Or - not - like me quietly leaning on the outside wall with iphone - hauled inside by a grinning Denis - who insisted that I took a seat and bought nothing !!!!!!

Yes the Livicon has it as said above as does Smerna Bar, Frame, Notus & Panorama in Mirthios.

Just one more thing please     Never having used it ( Wi Fi) except at home, is it free at these places?   if it is, would I out of courtesy ask whether I couuld use it or just  do it ??

Hi  - it was free last year at Livicon and purchasing a drink and asking permission will bring a very pleasant affirmative from Denis and/or Emma. Denis told me all sorts of stories about a very few people who when asked what they would like to eat or drink said no thanks I just want to use your wifi !! I used to pop in and out frequently with iphone and he made it very clear that he didn't expect me to buy a drink every time I needed access. Except for one amusing occasion when he "caught me" leaning (very obviously) against the front wall I always did.

Not only Wi-fi but helicopters too! The best place in town. Internet with the best Coffee in the morning and Campari at Sunset.

We will be back in Plakias in about 4 weeks & can't wait! As you know we love your bar & always come along in the evening, last November we also loved enjoying a drink or two watching the sunset!! Very happy memories...!!!  now I've seen a pic of your coffee you may see us in the morning too...,see you in 4 weeks & counting!
