Title: Cash Dispenser

Welll after years of waiting, two cash dispensers were installed in town during September. Was that normal Greek timing, or were they planning ahead for the 2003 season?
While I was there, the dispenser was working in the Mayors office - the other one (I can't remember the name of the office where it was installed) was only taking certain cards.
I didn't use either - and I did hear that the Mayor's office one ran out of cash.
Are they OK now?

Hi all when we left early October a cash dispencer was being installed in the Alianthos Hotel. We also saw the new (in place of the old) bakery at the side of the supermarket was well on the way to being built.  Looking forward to our June visit but hope   for less windy days.

Can you remember what cards the cash machine accepted?

I never actually used the machine - but as far as I remember it allowed cash withdrawals against MasterCard and Visa.
One of the Greek cards was also accepted - but I'm not sure which one!
Also unsure about debit cards.

Anyone else help?

Hoping to be back in May - so I'll certainly check then.

That's OK. I will wait for the May report. Its a few months before I will be going anyway, though I am fantasising already about sitting on a balcony with  a cool glass of beer with the condenstation dripping down the side!!

Sorry Bruce - you'll have to wait a little longer - not going 'till early June now.
But I'm sure someone else will let us know sooner!
