Hello,

We are thinking of staying in Plakias this year,and are hoping some forum users can answer my questions !!

How many tavernas are in the resort ?

How many bars ?

Is there any where in the resort where we can hire bicycles ? Or is there somewhere nearby where we can ?

Difficult questions!!

Tavernas? Never counted, but enough for you to go to a different one every night! and some!

Bars? Never counted, but enough for everyone and you will find one you like!

You can hire bikes in the village!

I had to complete information sheets with this information for Kosmar.  Great fun, but not in Kosmar mode any more and haven't kept any paperwork!!!  Is that useful??

On the map (link top right) there are 9 bars and 21 tavernas.
However, that is not entirely accurate as Ostraco is not a taverna and Secret Nest has gone (I hear).
Paligremnos is a taverna as well as being accomodation and is open throughout the day.

There may be other changes but I missed my visit last year so I am not up to date.
