Title: Plakias in April

Hello, we plan to visit Plakias (after a long absence!) in April this year (2008). Can anyone confirm if Babis is still there and that Medousa still rents rooms? We have great memories of being there in Sept 2004.

Babis / Medousa were still there when we were there in October and I cannot imagine that situation changing. He certainly does rent superb rooms and as far as I know he is open in April.

Going by the number of regulars on this site alone who use the Medousa, more than once during their stay, I would say that it would be a bad move from Babis if he did close.
I know it's one, if not the favourite of yours John and I have always been there at least two or three times during my stays.

Thanks - good to know and we will plan on staying at Medousa and of course eating there! We are so looking forward to the trip again. Let's hope the weather is better than now..... according to the Belgian news tonight, the weather in Greece (including Crete) is freezing with unusual heavy snowfalls. Perhaps we won't pack away those wollen jumpers yet!

They had plenty of snow a couple of years ago Oscar, there are photos of it on the site somewhere, but we've had no reports of any this year... yet!
