Title: Boring but necessary bits
Post by: Greecemad on June 02, 2007, 01:46:42 PM
The following photo that I found on flickr was taken in Plakias apparently:

Does anyone know where this is? It looks familiar somehow. Does anyone remember if it was produced by SunMed and displayed in all their properties or given to all their clients? It looks to be in their style.

That can be found in every bathroom in the Stella Pension. They used to be First Choice and (??) perhaps sunmed before that.

John,

SunMed became First Choice. The first time I stayed in Plakias was in 1990 at the Oasis Pension, with SunMed. When I have returned since I have always travelled independently. So I think it must have been then that I saw it. If it was on the wall in the bathroom then I would have seen it often for 2 weeks, so that's probably why it looks familiar.

Do you know I've only just noticed this thread!

Sunmed has my vote - I used to look forward to their brochures coming out, they were written with such humour.  I think the small print in the back of the brochure was headed up 'Boring Bits' too????

Their reps were pretty useless though, weren't they?
