Here on the Plakias Map

The Plakias Bay Hotel comprises 28 apartment style rooms all with a view over the bay. There can be quite a few steps to climb to some of the rooms 3xx to 4xx for example so the less able would be well advised to ensure they have a room with easy access. The hotel is located right at the Far End adjacent to the cliff and therefore you will need to walk the full length of the bay to get to the town and the tavernas. We found that the walk was quite welcome and helped to burn off a few calories too! The rooms are simply furnished and clean with a reasonable amount of space, air conditioned and with a small fridge.  The beds were basic but could be a bit firm for some I suspect.  The breakfasts are basic and perhaps a little disappointing to some depending on what you are used to on holiday. Orange juice, tea and coffee to drink with the usual bread, cheese slices, ham, tomato, pepper, feta, eggs (omelette or boiled), jams, youghurt, etc. A choice of fruit would have been welcome rather than just oranges and perhaps another choice of cereal than the one on offer. The staff and owners (Aris and Natasha) were very friendly and would spend time with you or not as you please. The big plus for this hotel is it's position which of course makes it very quiet at night if that's what you like and very handy for the far end beach and for a walk over to Damnoni/Amoudi.

The hotel has a web site :-

Would we stop there again - yes, I think we would.
