Christmas bazaar
« on: November 25, 2005, 04:35:56 PM »
For those of you residing on Crete, Plakias or elswere. On Saturday and Sunday 3 + 4 december The Cretan International Community has her annual Christmas bazaar in the Old Market Hall of Chania. Many items for sale, loteries and live music. All collected money will go to a good course. Make this years amount a new record and be there.

Although we prefer to go to Plakias in the Spring or late Summer I sometimes wonder how life is in Plakias at this time of year.

Has everyone retreated to Mirtios or Chania or are there still possibilities of staying somewhere near the sea ?

Here (if it is not to rainy or foggy) it only gets light by 9 am and sometimes is already dark (inside, meaning you have to put the lights on in your house) at 15.30 pm.

Has anyone been in Plakias or Crete in the Winter ?

What kind of weather have you experienced ?

Or can anyone living in Crete give us any information ?

Thanks very much.
