Plakias > Where to stay
Dora
(1/1)
ostraco:
Featured in the Olympic brochure for the last few years, this is an older style property. Although it is showing it's age in some ways, we have used it for the last few years.
It's location is quiet, at the far end of town, only a few hundred yards from the Ostraco Bar - and the Secret Nest Taverna (great for fish!).
The main bonus for us is Dora, who looks after the property herself. It is always spotless, linen is clean, and she even makes sure there is soap, washing up liquid etc. in every room.
And don't be surprised if a bottle of Raki turns up on the dressing table!
geralday:
John,
Thanks for the info on the Dora, I'll be returning to Plakias in April 2003 to continue walking and recording the local flora... so expect some more photos to appear on my flowers pages... see the sites link page. This will be my first stay at the Dora. Looking forward to going back to Plakias.
Regards, Gerald.

We'll probably go back to Dora next year too - just feels like home!
Keep uo the good work on the sites too Gerald - Plants and Lizards are fascinating sites, so I thought I'd pop the links in here as well.
Looking forward to next years updates!
Robin Young:
We stayed at Dora last June and found it excellent. Will almost definitely be returning in June this year.
Agree with all your comments about Dora. A lovely lady

PS The new bulletin board looks very good

Hey Robin,
Perhaps we ought to keep quiet about this - at least until the 2003 bookings are done
