Location:
Here on the Plakias Map

For the past two years the Levicon has become my local when in town.
It's in a nice position on the front and is an ideal place for pre or post dinner sustinance.
The comfortable furniture, the ambience of the excellent (class) music, and the friendliness and the patience (ie SL's) of mine host Dionysis aka Dennis (SL's can't pronounce Dionysis), and his wife, makes for a very pleasant, relaxing couple of hours, or more.

Thoroughly recommended thumbsup.gif

Yes, another Livicon convert here. Dionysis is great, always stops to chat, and even helps increase my Greek vocabulary and language skills every night

This was the first year we used the Livicon as our main watering hole, and I must say I have to agree with the previous comments, a great place to spend a few hours sipping G&T's. Thanks George for introducing us to Dionysis.

Good job I read these comments before I plough in.

I can only duplicate exactly what John R has said, and second the others.

If your a return visitor from the previous year he will remember you and this year he remembered my name for the first time.

It was a bit quiet this year but I was about 2-3 weeks earlier, so I could always get my comfy seat just at the top of the steps if Roger didn't get there first.

Great bar, great host and great music which you can still have a conversation over, which I added to this year. John R, ask 'Dennis' to play the CD that George bought for him, he said it's suitable for later on in the evenings.

It depends what you want from a bar before or after the evening meal, but the Levicon suits me just fine and going by the amount of people there later on in the year, it suits them too.

The Livicon is a fantastic place, we stay there and love it, Dionysos & Georgia are great people & good friends of many years. We have had many good times & laughs there & made some very good friends. This year the Hotel has newly refurbished rooms which are very nice & always extremley clean. As for the bar, firstly best breakfast in Plakias, then a cold Amstel after a hot day at the beach & then more drinks later with friends & lots of practical jokes from Dionysis.

One would like to think that Dionysis can read these reports, so he knows how much he is appreciated by his loyal customers. As you say John a true gentleman

Totally agree. Dionysis is a true friend to us all and will do anything to make your visit to Plakias as pleasant as possible. He also has a superb sense of humour including mild  but amusing practical jokes on those customers whose humour he knows well and who can reciprocate the humour. For other guests he efficiently and almost silently sees to all their needs. A true gentleman.
