Hi All Plakias lovers,
I was just wondering if anyone knew where these 2 apartments are located ?
Santa Maria states that it is in an Olive Grove and Nikos maybe off the main road in somewhere ?
I know Plakias fairly well but I havent stayed at these places before and does anyboday recommend them ?
Many Thanks
Rob

The Santa Maria is on the left side of the road as you leave town, about 100 yards past the OLD youth hostel site. I stayed there once, not bad at all and just far enough out of town and set back from the road.

Hi Robbie
Can't miss the Santa Maria, it's the one with the lawn and the gatehouse on the main road directly opposite the Irida,
...and Nikos is behind the campsite.
At the crossroads by the new supermarket just down from the church, go up the hill and turn left, then there's a steep hill going into the apartments.
Have stayed in both and would recommend either, with bias towards the Santa Maria.

Thanks...thats great..
I definately know the Santa Maria then...walked past it many times while walking to the beach at Damnoni..and have often wondered about it...
I think Olympic are doing these 2 this year...which is quite unusual...so I might take the plunge..
Thanks again...they sound good..

Just a word of caution on Santa Maria - the rooms at the front of the building are great - but there are some smaller ones at the back which are not so good!

I remember them John, open the front door and you're confronted with a concrete wall, Not nice!
Luckily we had one at the front.
