Where to go / Overnighter in Chania

Afternoon one and all

We normally do an overnighter in Rethymnon but have decided to try Chania next year. Has anyone done this? I believe the way to do this is to get the bus to Rethymnon and then another to Chania. I would imaging that buses to Chania are on a fairly regular basis but can anyone confirm this.

Where to stay / Booked for 2004!

 Couldn't wait, so went ahead and booked 7th September 2004 for two weeks. Adonis at Anso said the Artemis Studios are very nice and about 400m  outside the village with wonderful views of the bay and mountains.

All I have to do now is book the flights.

I know it's sad, but 49 weeks and counting!!!!!!!!!!

Plakias / Has work started yet?

Hi Everyone

For the first time in a while we didn't go to Plakias this year and boy did we miss it. We decided to have a year out and try somewhere new. Although it was very nice it just wasn't Plakias and we found ourselves comparing it all the time. When we got back there was no decision to be made for next year, it has to be Plakias.

So, we are thinking about accommodation and where to stay and quite fancy the Artemis studios however, we know that the Alianthos is planning to build a new Hotel and we were wondering if work is underway. If not, has anyone heard any rumurs as to when work is likely to start?  I really do not want to be too close to a building site because of the noise.

Sounds like everyone had a great time at the meal and I look forward to joining you all next year, so may I be the first to say put me down for two places!
