I wonder if I am the only one of the regular contributors to this forum who has never been into the Ostraco bar.

Mike
Very possibly! Mind you, we don't go there often - a litre of wine + complimentary rakis with our meal is usually enough for us.  I hate admitting it but we're most likely to be in bed by 11pm  .
My feelings exactly. I reckon a couple of glasses of wine (or G&Ts) on the balcony beforehand plus half a litre of wine with the meal plus any raki adds up to about 10 units of alcohol per day (a unit being 10ml of pure ethanol) which is about 3 times the recommended maximum. And I certainly wouldn't want the next day to be marred by a headache.

Noopsy, to type accents use the key that gives you a semi-colon when typing English and press this before the letter that you want accented (when you press the semi-colon key nothing will appear to happen - the cursor doesn't move).

Doesn't seem to work for me  (and I've tried it with various combination of the Ctrl, Alt and Alt Gr keys).

Mike,

Have you got the keyboard set up as Greek so that when you press a letter key it types a Greek instead of an English one? You should then be able to press Alt+Shift to flip-flop between the two languages

Like a lot of people on here, Gary and I used to be in bed by 11, however, we then met Steve and Lin when we then went on one of the forum meals arranged by Compage. We have become good friends and arrange our stay in Plakias around each other. You will now find us all ( sometimes Ploppy and Marge) sitting outside Ostraco on most nights and tend not leave until Stelio closes the bar. I think it fair to say Ostraco is responsible for one or two headaches

Only for one night (in about 8 years !!) and we soon bounced back again. It seemed a bit like a set up anyway. There was the equivalent of paparazzi at our alternative venue to witness that unique event.
