PlakChat / Sunloungers and Parasols

I am contemplating visiting Plakias from the 4th October for 14 days.  It will be the first time to Plakias for 3 years having been many times before  ( always the last 2 weeks in May and the last 2 weeks in September.

I have never been to Plakias in October before and my question is,  does anyone know if the sunloungers and parasols at the " farend " will be operating throughout October ?

It will also be the first time to Plakias independently. Can anyone give any guidance/ recommendations re Travel Insurance?

A deadly snake in the middle of the road eh !!!!!!!!!!!    I would have thought that the male "far enders" should have the sense to put their shorts back on by the time thay reached Kyma !!!!!!

Plakias / Early season report

Due to the fact that I have an elderly boxer dog  ( hence my profile name  !!! ) I have refused to put him into kennels for the last three years.  As a consequence I have sorely missed my twice yearly visits to Plakias,  the first being the last two weeks in May and the second the last two weeks in September.

I regularly visit this forum just to see what is going on in Plakias and would like to thank Wakefossel for his update and fabulous photos.  It was the next best thing to actually being there.

If any of you are going to Plakias soon and have a drink at the Lamon Hotel after dinner ,  please say a BIG hello to Dennis from John and Tom.
