The perfect picture from Plakias
« on: January 21, 2005, 12:15:21 PM »
hi plakias lovers,

I'm searching for the perfect picture of Plakias.
So many years in Plakias...so many pictures taken...but never ever did a picture come close to giving me that Plakias feeling.

I'm searching for that special picture.

As some of you might know, last year I started a diving school in Plakias.
Right now I'm working on a new website for our school in Plakias.
How can one best adverise Plakias?....I believe pictures are very important.

Who can help me?...who can send me that feeling?

Greetings paul.
I am Dutch. From Amsterdam.
After 12 years of summer holidays in Plakias.
This Year I have started, together with my twinn-brother Erik, father Rein and mother Meta a diving school in Plakias: Dive Together Crete.

Depends what you're looking for Paul - Plakias is lots of things at different levels - The Bay (as in our icon), the hills, the restaurants and cafes in the harbour area and of course the people. Many of us go to Plakias because of all of these things seen as a whole - not easy to capture in one photo. But just maybe someone out there has something close ....

Hi Paul,

My Plakias pictures are now back online, they can be found here.

You will have to trawl through because I haven't categorized them or anything.

Cheers,

Paul

P.S For those interested in seeing pictures of our new kitties they can be found here.
Again there is a real mixture here, haven't even bothered getting rid of the really crap and out of focus ones!

Nice photos Paul !
Interesting to see the ones of the 'Dragon' as it looks very different from further up the road !!
Have started my first attempt at getting some photos loaded up on top the web -java script:ol('http://groups.msn.com/CretanLandscapes');
First attempt, as a real raw beginner on this type of thing.
How do you do it ? Do you need to get a load of web space ?
May be obvious, but interested to know.

Know I have mentioned before, but maybe another case of getting a library for this forum ???

Cheers all,

Neil

Didn't work for me Pritch - maybe 'cos I'm at work (firewall etc) or maybe you need to select something to make the site for public viewing
