Hi Just booked for 2 weeks Aug.28 Man/Chania.Lamon Aparthotel.B.B. £319 each with Kosmar.
A price we could not refuse.It will be our 4th visit,the 1st with Sunmed many years ago.

Welcome to the forum.
Rats, I forgot Kosmar.
Booked our flights for September a few days ago.
It looks like Kosmar only do Plakias on a Tuesday from Chania. No good as we need a Friday departure which means Heraklion.
Looks like once we add in accomodation and taxis it will be a little more than that.. nevermind!

If anyone is considering a last minute to Plakias, try the Olympic web site ( I know about the Transfers!)
I cannot go myself, but I nearly cried when I saw 2 weeks self catering at the Costas Chryssoula, leaving Gatwick on 5th. June, (good flight), for just £393 PER COUPLE!!!!! Yes under £200 each, including all taxes, duties transfers etc.
GRAB it while you can, and have a Mythos for me when you get there, and say hello (yassou) to Babis at the Sirokko.

That is certainly a remarkable price for a decent accommodation. Surprising though, as Plakias usually sells out early and I wouldn't want to risk booking so late personally, but good luck to anyone who does. I wonder if the price has something to do with the fact that this is the day Chris and Mandy return home.
Re. the transfers, I think the general opinion was that Olympic had improved this for 2006 over 2005 and I hope they maintain that this year.

Yes they are selling quick, as of todays date there are only the larger rooms (2/3) left, and the price has risen a bit to £449 for 2 people. Still a good price, I hope I don't water down my Mythos by crying too much.

I noticed today that Olympic had a late offering on their website of Kostas Chrysoulla for 2 weeks for £177.99 pp leaving 26/6. Someone is going to get a real bargain. Probably gone by now.
