It has been way too long since I was last in Plakias, though i do plan to return next year.  
I have been visiting this site for 6 years and this is my first post, though I feel like I know all you regulars through your witty notes!
My burning question is: Has the Meltami bar, which I loved, and went to throughout all of my holidays in Plakias, now been demolished? If so what has happened to the lovely Phillipos?

yes i'm affraid its gone, or at least closed - i dont know if its been pulled down yet.
phillipos will still be going about - he lives in chania but has villas in plakias so you might see him when your back
