So sad to here that you are moving on but not surprised. We have been going these last 28 years and as you say it as changed a lot in that time ,not always for the better. We still have lots of friends their but the atmosphere seems to have changed. These last few years we have been using Plakias as a base and traveling around in the car during the day, even if it was only to Spilli , then it was good to get back to the old place.
eI noticed when their in April that take away place bottom of street from ellia was being done out is that open again and is it still run by Ireeny (excuse spelling) and her son.

Was their in April-May was fabulous  their again in October, the road to Rodakino was very good saved a lot of time. I am interested in the road to Triopetra. I tried to get there many years ago across country. I took a track behind the taverna over the river on the way up to Preveli monastery i think i bottomed the car a few times. How do you pick up the road to get you there, we go to Agios Pavlos a lot it would save a lot of time.  Many Thanks

the road to Rodikino from Souda where do you pick up the road in Souda is it near the taverna. This is good news as it will save time instead of going through the mountains. Me and my wife go to Rodikino every year its so peaceful.

Same boat as yourselves 3rd time of trying but keep on canceling so had to give up until October. No saying if Boris says ok that the EU will allow us in .

Daniel been going Plakias for 27 years I didn't know I could fly from Leeds Bradford being from Huddersfield it would be better for us than Manchester.

Just had our flight to Crete for there Easter blown out of the water again. Not totally surprised so now carrying it over to October should get all clear by then. We will both have our jabs by then next 2 weeks for me. My car hire company have carried my car payment over also. How many more out there are suffering like ourselves.

well we have given up on getting back to Plakias this year Easyjet have allowed us to transfer our booking to next April for the Greek easter so will just have to wait until then. What with Thomas Cooke then Easyjet and the pandemic will us aficionados of Plakias ever get back there.

Got the same news myself blown out of the water again. Car booked at airport in Heraklion. Other flights not suitable , like you get the money back have a rethink.

Hi Peter, What is this code you mentioned to Arnaki I havn,t heard of this is there some kind of form to fill in before traveling. We are due to fly out to heraklion on the 8th October I seem to be missing something. Hate to miss Plakias on a stupid mistake.

I am with you Richard it takes me 2 weeks to get over my visit to Plakias anyway. I don't drink back home so let my hair down , normally at Joe,s so can give kidneys a rest on return. I do feel that the way it is going it will not be in force by then, or am I being too optimistic.

The wife says if we have to isolate when we get back she wont be going. We are both retired so don't see the inconvenience.
