.... I just have not mastered the art of uploading them to this site- Any help on his?

Step 1 - pick a suitable (free) online album site (Flickr, Worldisround, Picasa, etc.).  Note that Flickr works slightly differently - I will annotate later.

Step 2 - using the help on the album site, upload as few or many pictures as you like.

Step 3 - (Assuming you have selected the one{s} to post here) Right-click your mouse on the picture and select "Copy image location" (or whatever variant your browser uses), then in your Plakias post, paste that information at the point where the picture should be.  Place BBcode tags around the image location .... like this:

Flickr - You will have to work a bit harder with Flickr:
From the selected picture, select the "More sizes" option, above it.
Select the size you want (Thumbnail; Small; Medium; Large; Full Size).
Below the chosen size-image, there is an option:
"To link to this photo on other websites you can either:
1. Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage:
2. Grab the photo's URL:"
 - Use "2.", select and copy the URL directly.

This replaces the instruction {Right-click your mouse on the picture and select "Copy image location"} in Step 3, above.

FWIW

The newly introduced "Standard" for phone (and other similar devices) is micro-USB, so there shouldn't be a problem finding a suitable charger anywhere in the EU ..... well, that's what the theory is, anyway.

Being a bit slow on the uptake (due to my advanced age and mis-spent youth) I am thinking the poor donkey is not a donkey at all but a deeply intellectual reference to "smack the pony".

The "look and feel" are fairly similar and you seem to have most/all the facilities nailed, so I'd say go for it ....... just one thing:

.... will get the the Euros we need in the UK, using the MoneySavingExpert site to find out what the best deal is just prior to going.

....And then check with your local Co-op Travel shop where they try to beat ANY deal (well, that's true of the Stretford branch and they say it's national).

You can set each individual script-source on each webpage as "allow temporarily" or "allow permanently" .... there should be a NoScript toolbar at the bottom of the screen with a button labelled "Options" on the right-hand end.  Any new scripts are blocked by default; YOU decide exactly which and what to allow.

Once a site has been permanently allowed, the toolbar disappears until a new script arrives.  That level of paranoia suits me fine.

A couple of thought came as I read it:

1. I'm glad I use Firefox rather than Internet Explorer (I also have NoScript for extra safety).

2.  It's a grade one pain if you have been infected - full system rebuild to get rid! .... Even more relived I use Firefox.
