Title: CHRISTMAS BREKKIE
Post by: daza on December 04, 2013, 11:13:47 AM
Now that I know that people "haven't" gone into hibernation, how a bout some chatter to get us in the Christmas spirit? (It's December so I can say Christmas now).
What do you have for that "special" breakfast on Christmas morning?
I used to indulge in cold pork pie and hot tinned tomatoes (my granddad introduced me to that one), but now I look forward to smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, wholemeal toast and a glass or two of bubbly to wash it down.
What's your festive treat for brekkie??

Bacon butty - never at any other time, just Christmas - and a mug of tea.  No alcohol until after the Christmas dinner is cooking, as I can't manage to cook under the influence of alcohol.

It depends........usually pate on toast or scrambled eggs with salmon but if it's really....really cold...it's the only time of the year that I allow myself Ready Brek with a sprinkling of chocolate and loads of sugar (but don't tell my medic !!!!). We keep a small bottle of Raki for a celebration later in the day too !

Depends what time Christmas lunch is ie: if early then toasted crumpets, if late then smoked salmon with scrambled eggs.  Happy Christmas to all and I look forward to being in Plakias May2014.
