A lot of them could be bots.

I can't keep up with all these acronyms so this may seem like a daft question but, what or who are 'bots'?

My guess is that it is all us "farenders" laying on our tummies and getting our "bots" tanned

A bot (or spiderbot) is a software program employed by search engines to index pages.

Chris is right, I have added some stuff into the forum that should recognize them and list them. However this is based on a list of known bots. Time marches on and this list probably has a few holes in it now as new bots are put out there.

I'll see if I can find an updated list, but yep in the meantime many of the reported 'Guests' may well be bots.

In case anyone is interested, Google has come sniffing around a quarter of a million times!

Cheers,

Paul
