Plakias / Iraklio-Plakias by night

This year will be the first time we will have to drive ourselves from the airport to Plakias. As we arrive in the evening it will be dark at the time we'll be on our way.
Does anybody have information or tips that could be usefull to us ?

Plakias / My friend(?) the wind

Last year a great part of our vacation was disturbed by a stormy wind. At night we had to close the doors because of the noise from the wind howling around the building. It was like a storm we have sometimes in autumn here in the netherlands, but here it kept going on for days..... Eating outside was rather impossible because the wind would blow your food from the table.
Does this often occur, because it would be a reason for us not to go to Plakias anymore. Friends who stayed at Agia Galini the same time had no storm at all.

Looking for apartments near Rodakino i also saw something of Nostalgia at Souda beach.
Can anybody tell me more about these apartments as the pictures on their website don't show much.

Where to stay / Rodakino

I'm looking for an apartment or studio for 2 persons in Rodakino.All i can find is SUNRISE and i think i don't like it. I tried to contact AKROPOLIS apartments but got no answer.
Can anybody help me with this ?
