Ostraco's-What will they be playing this year?

During our visits to Plakias, we always like to spend our evenings upstairs at Ostraco's overlooking the main street and the bay.

However it always manages to give us a chuckle because we can always predict what songs will be played. There are always the perenial favourites but in 2006 we noticed some new additions. This is the list of the ones that we remembered good or bad and in no particular order....

REM-Losing my Religion

Jamiroquai-Virtual Reality
Bon Jovi-Living on a prayer

Feel free to add any other popular requests that I have missed out.

I have a feeling that SexyBack by Justin Trousersnake will be irritating popular in 2007...

Perhaps people might like to add some other songs that they would like to be heard/viewed and we could email the guys at Ostracos with a list-they may even play some of them!

How about " My first, my last my everything" Barry White.
You should try the reruns of the Greek Christmas shows on the big screen in early Jan...Fab. Same thing over and over again, but what the heck the views are great!

Sahake, Shake, Shake - Greek Eurovision entry from a couple of years ago which I think won or came second. I love it and get them to play it every year

Frankly, I really dont care what they play.  I love the place and all that cheesy music!  They had some Abba on last year too!  FAB!

It will be nice to sit upstairs and people watch without rain spoiling my evening!  2 more working get ups and here I come - that's Tuesday 22nd May out of Manchester at 9.45 a.m prompt! just in case you cant work it out

My knowledge of music is limited, but Ostraco's balcony is a great place to listen to it, look out over Plakias Bay, chat with your neighbour, dance with the locals (and even dance on the bar!).

What's the one about Alice? Something like .. 'For 24 years I've been living next door to Alice'?

we couldnt believe they were playing the same stuff this year, it made us chuckle.

other additions are:

U2 - still havent found what Im looking for
REM - shiny happy people
Bon Jovi - Romeo is bleeding
Nelly Fertado - Say it right
Red hot chillis - under the bridge and How low (or whatever its called)
The Rasmus - ive been waiting (played lots last year as well)
Way too many Anastasia songs

and what the hell is with playing Stereo MCs still? arggghhhhhhh!
