Olympic rep 2008
« on: March 26, 2008, 06:06:58 PM »
Does anyone know who the Olympic rep is for 2008, or is it too early to say?  If it is the same one as last time, will she still be living at the Santa Maria?  Without being more specific  it will affect where we stay!

Do I note a little friction  ??

Try emailing the Alianthos, they might be able to help you.

Might be a good idea to leave out the last sentence

You know it makes sense!!

One can always avoid the reps  , is this your first time and where are you going to stay?

The Santa Maria is a nice place, I stayed there once  .

We've been quite a few times over the years, stayed at Santa Maria last year and loved it.  Olympic have offers for October on their website, but not much seems to be left at all.  Looking forward to the walks (thank goodness for Lance Chilton), the lovely food (Lyseoss and Mousses favourites last time) and the great atmosphere and friendliness of the place.

We aren't going until 7th October, so does anyone know
- will there be much still open?
- does the bus go onto an more limited service by then?
- how's the building works 'our' end - they were building a car wash we think last year and lots of worrying ground works
- will the library be open?

I'm sure we'll have a good time anyway!

Unfortunately Olympic are your only choice of holiday company (at that level anyway) now that Kosmar pulled out earlier in the year.

I usually go first 2 weeks September but I would have thought that there's still a lot up and running mid October, I'm sure someone will confirm that for you.
The car wash is up and running, well it was last year anyway and the building/ground work preparation is still ongoing. It's going to be a few years yet before we'll notice any major differences.

Have a good one one JennyN.
