Apollo studios

My wife & I have visited Plakias for odd days on previous trips to Crete. This year we are staying there at the Apollo Studios, just wondering if anyone can guide me to the Apollo.
Also we have heard that prices have increased since the introduction of the Euro. Have you regulars seen any evidence of this?.

You will find the Apollo on this map.

Over the last 14 years, prices in Greece have gradually increased in comparison with the UK.  I don't think the change of currency was as big an influence as the greater prosperity in Greece.

Enjoy you holiday.  When is it?

Hi John
Thanks for the map.
We are there for the first 2 weeks in May.
Any reports on the Apollo?

Eric

I stayed at the Apollo a few years ago - it was pretty basic, but clean and fairly well maintained.

It has a nice pool - and the pool bar is good value.

Near the shops and tavernas, and not too far to walk to the beach.

Robbie, did you see this post from Susan?

This link should give you a list of search results for Dora.

One of them says Dora is next to The Secret Nest and I think that is near number 8 on the map.

Look for 9 - Limani.
There's a black square mark just above it. Go past that and walk towards 8 - Eleonas, and it's about 100 metres up that road - on your left. Look for the Secret Nest Taverna (good fish there!), and Dora is part of that group of buildings.
It's visible from 11 - Costas & C and just a couple of minutes walk. If you're with Olympic, you'll have use of the pool at Costas.
Give my love to Dora - she's a lovely lady!
