Hidden Greece
« on: January 17, 2008, 02:52:37 PM »
Hi All

Just had an email from Hidden Greece, they've got a new website up and running. I've only had a quick shoofty, but it has a feel of the old 'Sunmed' brochure (bless 'em) about it:

 www.hidden-greece.co.uk

enjoy

Just a taster of their email speil:-

Hidden Greece's website is now firing on all cylinders!

To be honest, we embarked on the upgrading of our piddling website in 2006 with little enthusiasm. For nearly 50 years we'd enjoyed producing brochures which our clients enjoyed too. How boring, we thought, to move with the times. That was then the prevailing foresight.

However, we were persuaded otherwise by Peter the Printer (who had gone ambidextrous and become a ComPeter Buff) and by Graham (the ghost of websites yet to come) neither of whom of course had the slightest axe to grind. We gave in and, last year, put all our accommodation details on our website. Now we've added everything else.

After 18 months of burning the candle at both ends, we have time to look at the monster we created. We are gobsmacked: it not only does everything the old brochures did (except fit in an envelope and we're working on that) but offers vastly more - and better - pictorial coverage of our places and accommodation which makes it easier for you to choose the right holiday. Now, of course, we claim we knew that all the time. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
