Buying Euros
« on: April 24, 2012, 01:57:22 PM »
I have noticed recently that both Tesco and Asda offer very competitive exchange rates for buying € notes, with no commission taken off. They both beat main branch Post Offices, who have been good in the past and better than High Street banks.

Buying € at Gatwick is a real rip-off as their rates are awful.

Hi Mike
best option is to buy on line......we buy from Ice Travel Money...delivered within 24hrs, no commision.
We bought last thursday at the rate of  1.2010 which we are happy with even though it went a little higher the following day.
Good luck
