Spelt 'unpainful' - no problem. One of the beauties of English is that many odd looking words are 'real' if you search hard enough

You better do as otherwise you might be ostracized by harrying this forum!
(I wonder if this is English?      )

Leen

Don't worry Leen, as long as we understand, it's english right? Let the Brits remind us of their old words while we make up new ones.

Todays invention: unpainfull = very painless

I noticed floccinaucinihilipilification of this topic.
Suggest to pick up the correct topic again.
Do anybody knows where they serve blobsterdis in Plakias or near Plakias?

sadly, we Brits nowadays make up a minority of speakers of International World English so we're not really entitled to take umbrage at solecisms.  Of course, that won't stop us...

Reading your comment is illustrious solace to me.   We foreigners need correction. Observe, even whilst I invented "unpainful" I did not manage to spell it correctly.

Trying another one : transeuro sublevelaeroator  =  someone flying tourist class to Crete.

I think English needs more complex words. Here is a Norwegian example: "problemstillingssporsmal"
So much easier than writing: "Thesis statement formed as a question".

This tread might have been born with multiple personalities...
Since you are it's meritorious father, you will have to decide if it needs to be sent to psychiatric care or maybe on an indefinite holyday at the far end, where it can take turns in laying in the shade of itself while discussing the easiest ambulation method between the far end and Kastro Taverna.

Bay the way, did you want to talk about Tavernas?

Seems like the etymologists have taken over from the gastronomists in this topic.

Yes, that is what a page looks like after eight hours of strenuoues reading. An etymologist should not be entomophobic.
