Many years ago when we first hit the island we asked a busdriver ff he would make it all the way down to a place we called "pla-kee-as". What? Where? The man thought for a while and then he shouted out: Aaah: plá-dczia ! Yes! We go to Plá-dczia! As he was from crete origin we use to speak it like this when we play that we are sophisticated ...
Maybe a topic for a pleasent voting?

Somewhere halfway up the track there is a [it was there last year ...] a wooden hut where you may fix your bikes and make the rest on your feet.
I don't think it is possible to ride to the top on the back of your bike.

IIRC the woman who did the massages has moved with her facilities towards mirthios or sellia.

Yesterday I was a little bit concerned about the forum's future as the only thing I could see here and on ostraco's page was:
"This site has been suspended ... etc. ...pp..."  So today I'm glad to see it's all online again.
