Plakias / Boats & things

We have been been seduced by all the good things people have said about Plakias and have booked to go for the first time at the end of June. Seems a lifetime away with all the snow outside. Have a feeling we will be joining the far enders.
However, our question is about the availability of boat trips from Plakias-either hiring your own or otherwise-and the places you can get to.
