Had a quick look at the website for the hotel Myrtis which looks nice, can anyone tell me some more about it? And it's exact location? ie; what's it next/close to?
This is my search starting for 2006!!!
Cheers

Hi, Stayed at the Myrtis many years ago and it was fine, nice and quiet, away from the noisy bits and the rooms were great. The only downfall was its location and the distance from the far end or the middle of the beach, a good half hour stroll there and longer back. Last yeat i went to the Myrtis with a view to staying there this year, i was shown around the rooms and still thought that it was a very nice quiet place to stay but in comparrison my favourite hotel, the Alianthos gardens won again being nearer the beach and i like the frindly staff there , not that i say the staff at Myrtis are not friendly!
So thats my view, see what others have to say.

Wow, I thought I was an early bird in terms of holiday planning but Fraoula has me beaten! I generally like to plan and then book when the brochures are published in June-August for the next summer.

In spite of comments in the forum about apartments/rooms always being available in Plakias even in high season, I have the distinct impression that for those of us wanting a package tour (let's not go into the package tour versus independent debate again), early booking is wise for Plakias.

I see that Kosmar are now taking bookings on their website for Lamon and Appolo for Summer 2006. I was looking for late September 2006 and could have made a booking had I proceeded any further. The accommodation for that period in 2005 was snapped up very quickly. I'm going independently this year (to Stella) but am in a quandry as to what to do for 2006.
