Hey Eejit

from our many trips to Plakias I have noticed most of the tavernas have High Chairs etc, as far as where to eat, anywhere, they're all good, not had a bad meal yet! personal faves are Lysseos, Gorgonas, Sophia A (nico loves kiddies!) and Ariadne. hope this is of some use and have a great time!

Hey Guys, don't hold your breath for Kosmar, already have their brochure for 2005 and Plakias is not in there, still, may be in a a later edition!
John (ostraco) and I went with Argo a couple of years ago to Kefalonia on a last minute thing, we got a great deal and had a great time but they do seem to be very expensive normally and charge extra for everything!

Have to agree with Loukafran on this 'Captain Corellis Mandolin' Fantastic book although the first few chapters are hard going.
If you have seen the film, forget all you have seen before reading the book.
One I picked up, again in most supermarkets out there was 'Crete 1941' which as you may guess ia about the war but is accounts from Cretans and servicemen that were on the island at the time, very interesting read!

Hi Mike, have stayed in Dora many times, very nice, only changed to Costas & Chryssoula this year as it was a great deal from first choice, the 1 in 3 hill goes up the side of the building but it's more or less on the flat, don't worry, you don't have to be a mountain goat to get to it!
