That is definitively my kind of New Year Resolution. Both positive, pleasurable and unboastable (Oops, I might have invented a new english word here).

I would certainly encourage everyone to give Kastro a try. This has turned out to be one of our firm favourites: I think we went three times last year, which is a bit of a recommendation in itself with all the other options available.

The food is great, freindly staff, and a good view down into the bay.

I agree John. We've only eaten there once and it certainly wasn't the cheapest but the food was very good. That plus the view of the bay meant that we would definitely say it is worth trying.

It's behind and above the town. If you walk up the road past the Apollon, take the track towards Mirthios, just over the stream you come to a junction. Kastro is signposted from there if I remember rightly.

There are such good reviews about Medousa that I'm sorry we didn't get there last year, an omission we'll correct this year. It will be interesting to see if Mousses can maintain their high standards, although in my experience standards can radically alter (up or down) from year to year.

Re. the posts about Ali and Dave, is their place located in the road going inland from the Souvlaki House (The Hut) just past Ariadne?

You better do as otherwise you might be ostracized by harrying this forum!
(I wonder if this is English?    )

Don't worry Leen, as long as we understand, it's english right? Let the Brits remind us of their old words while we make up new ones.
