Title: Odd Topic Notification
Post by: George on April 15, 2010, 11:37:49 AM
Paul I received a topic notification from you (evidently), but it was different from the norm.
The link was this:

http://www.ploppy.me.uk/index.php (http://www.ploppy.me.uk/index.php)

Which took me into an evidently new layout using as it said 'SMF just installed'. It's as far as I can see totally unusable, but you can see all the messages.

Info please and I suggest no one hits that link until Paul gets back on this one.

i am guessing there is no restriction on joining that forum, therefore spammers can join, i didn't get any notifications but if my settings have been replicated from this forum, i wouldn't get them

not wishing to teach paul how to suck eggs, but i would be tempted to close the membership on the SMF forum so as to stop any future spam

Cheers for the heads-up.
