Plakias / Draught Beer

Hi all
Here in the U.K. i like to drink real/draught beer (no i havn't got a beard, and i dont wear sandals). Are there any bars in Plakias that sell draught versions of Mythos,Amstel etc as i find the keg and bottled versions tooooo gassy (burp, pardon) .I like the sound of the black beer mentioned on the forum, where is that available ?.

Plakias / Plakias to Chania

Hi everyone
The good lady would like to go to Chania whilst we have the hire car, can anyone recommend a good route to get there, and how long might it take to get there? As we will be making a day of it, any ideas of good places to stop on the way there or back?

Plakias / another question or two

Hi all.
 Thanks for all the info so far. It does help with the planning, but at the same time its nice to not know everything and have some things to find out when we get there (does that make sense). After looking through the forum i cannot see it mentioned anywhere if there is a cash point or any where to cash travellers cheques. Help please. Also which are the best beaches within walking distance, and which are the best beaches to go to when the wind really blows.

Plakias / Decent road map

Hi everyone. Not long to our holiday, looking forward to our first ice cold Mythos. Anyway, where is it possible to obtain a decent road map of the area for when we go sightseeing and beach finding in our hire car.

Hi everyone.Thanks for the information you have all provided so far. Beginning to look forward to our hols now. Our next question (just to keep you on your toes). During our stay we like to hire a car for a few days to see the area. Is there a car hire firm in Plakias, and where are the must see places around Plakias?.

Plakias / New to Plakias

Hi, we are going to plakias in july this year and we would be grateful for any information that will make our holiday more enjoyable. We are srtaying at the Santa Maria apartments with olympic (R.I.P Kosmar).Last year we stayed at Bali on the north of the island, any comparisons?. Over the coming months we will be picking your brains for the best bars, restaurants etc.
